The Eight Audio Cinema LCR12 is a professional 12-inch cinema LCR loudspeaker designed to deliver high-SPL performance, powerful dynamics and excellent clarity for demanding cinema applications.

Rated at 300W AES power handling and 600W maximum power handling, the Cinema LCR12 combines a high-performance 12-inch woofer, professional compression driver, constant-directivity horn and precision audiophile crossover to deliver a powerful and controlled cinema sound experience.

Designed for Left, Center and Right (LCR) applications, the Cinema LCR12 is ideally suited for large home theaters, private cinemas, screening rooms and professional movie theater installations.

12-inch Professional Woofer

At the heart of the Cinema LCR12 is a high-performance 12-inch professional woofer designed to deliver powerful and controlled low-frequency and mid-bass reproduction.

The woofer incorporates a 3-inch voice coil and Interleaved Sandwich Voice Coil (ISV) technology, providing the power handling and motor control required for demanding cinema playback.

The large voice coil architecture is designed to support high-power operation while maintaining controlled performance during demanding soundtrack passages.

Professional Compression Driver

The high-frequency section uses a professional compression driver featuring a 44mm voice coil and PEEK diaphragm.

PEEK is selected for its combination of stiffness, low mass and thermal stability, helping the driver deliver detailed and controlled high-frequency reproduction while maintaining reliability during demanding playback.

Optimized Cast Aluminum Rear Chamber

The compression driver incorporates an optimized cast aluminum rear chamber with damping, engineered to improve the acoustic behavior of the driver and support an extended high-frequency response.

The rigid cast aluminum construction also provides a stable mechanical platform for the compression driver.

The crossover is built using carefully selected components, including in-house manufactured metalized polypropylene film capacitors and pure copper air-core crossover coils.

The crossover uses metalized polypropylene film capacitors manufactured in-house by Eight Audio, selected for their low-loss characteristics and stable performance.

Pure Copper Air-Core Crossover Coils

The crossover also uses pure copper air-core crossover coils.

The use of very thick-gauge copper wire helps provide low resistance and supports higher power handling, while minimizing unwanted losses in the crossover network.
