The Eight Audio Impact CI17 is an ultra-high-performance cinema speaker engineered specifically for demanding home theater and surround-channel applications. Combining a high-dynamic 170 mm midwoofer, a 26 mm soft-dome tweeter, controlled directivity, and a rigid, heavily braced cabinet, the CI17 delivers an immersive surround experience with excellent clarity, dynamics, and tonal balance.

Its TM (Tweeter–Midwoofer) configuration provides an acoustically efficient and practical architecture for surround channels, delivering 90 dB SPL sensitivity for high output with excellent dynamic capability.

The CI17 features a 170 mm high-dynamic driver engineered for powerful and controlled midrange and midbass reproduction.

The tweeter is integrated with a directivity-controlled waveguide, helping control high-frequency dispersion and improve the consistency of the sound across the listening area. This controlled directivity also helps achieve a seamless and focused surround presentation.

Vented & Tuned Rigid Cabinet

The Impact CI17 uses a vented, tuned bass-reflex enclosure designed to enhance low-frequency extension and improve overall acoustic efficiency.

The cabinet is constructed from rigid MDF and heavily braced to minimize unwanted cabinet vibration and resonance. This rigid enclosure platform allows the drivers to perform with greater precision, helping maintain clarity and definition during high-output playback.

Precision-Engineered Crossover

The CI17 crossover network uses carefully selected, high-quality components for accurate integration between the midwoofer and tweeter.
