The Eight Audio Impact CI27 is an ultra-high-performance cinema speaker engineered specifically for demanding home cinema and LCR applications. Built around a high-output MTM (Midwoofer–Tweeter–Midwoofer) configuration, the CI27 combines powerful dynamics, excellent sensitivity, controlled directivity, and refined detail to deliver an immersive cinematic experience.

At its core, the Impact CI27 features dual 170 mm high-dynamic drivers paired with a 29 mm soft-dome tweeter mounted in a specially engineered directivity-controlled waveguide. This configuration provides an excellent balance between high output, vocal clarity, wide soundstage, and controlled high-frequency dispersion — making the CI27 an ideal choice for Left, Center, and Right channels in a serious home cinema system.

With 93 dB SPL sensitivity, the CI27 can achieve high output levels with comparatively lower amplifier power, while maintaining the dynamics required for demanding movie soundtracks and high-resolution music.

Dual 170 mm High-Dynamic Drivers

The Impact CI27 uses two 170 mm high-dynamic drivers engineered to deliver powerful midbass and highly controlled midrange reproduction.

The cabinet is constructed from rigid MDF and heavily braced to minimize unwanted cabinet vibration and resonance. This rigid mechanical platform allows the drivers to perform with greater precision, helping preserve clarity and definition at high playback levels.
